Sheelagh Caygill is an award-winning journalist and public relations practitioner who specialises in copywriting, editing, and media relations. She has worked for regional newspapers in Canada and the UK and most recently was digital media editor at The Northern Echo. During her six-year stint in the role she took the online audience form 200,000 to 1.2 million a month, improved community interaction with the web, and co-ordinated many web-related events and competitions. Sheelagh has freelanced in Canada and the UK and has experience working with large and small businesses, government departments, non-profit groups and the arts sector. She is the recipient of IABC magazine and newsletter awards, and the BT regional website of the year award in 2001. Sheelagh has a diploma in journalism from Niagara College, Ontario, and a BA in History from the University of Alberta. She has taken numerous writing, marketing and event management courses over the years.
Christine Tucker is an accomplished creative writer. She has more than 20 years' experience in proofreading and copyediting. She is also adept at newsletter planning and management. Christine has worked for a public relations agency and has experience in event management and writing personal biographies for reports and magazines. She has also worked for an array of organisations including business and charities. Until recently she volunteered with her local church where she developed a monthly newsletter to spearhead the church's communication efforts.
Sam Lorenzelli is a web designer and content manager with more than ten years' experience working with clients in the UK and Europe. Sam has created many different types of websites including e-commerce sites, blogs, and arts sites. His reputation is built on carefully listening to clients in order to understand their needs and aspirations. Sam is familiar with search engine optimisation techniques and can advise on website promotion.
Paul Rimell has more than four years' experience in web design and search engine optimisation techniques. With each client he ensures that a website's visual appeal, structure and interactivity are developed to their full potential to produce a powerful, eye-catching web presence. He takes time to research a client's needs and then develops a strategy for site design and structure. Content is always central and well-organised. Paul has worked with a diverse range of clients including photographers, writers, small businesses and the wholesale suppliers sector.
